I view myself as a problem solver working in visual communication. I am a fine artist, graphic designer, crafts person and I teach at Suffolk University in the graphic design program. In addition, I have had experience in public art, environmental design, community art and co-curating art exhibitions. 

I believe that art & design should serve a purpose in our society and community. Sometimes this means that I must learn a new artistic medium to effectively communicate. This allows me to keep learning and experimenting.
 
This winter and spring, I have been focusing on drawing and I have also returned to woodblock printing. My plan is that when the weather warms, I will go back to plein air landscape painting. In addition, I am continuing my work on a documentary film and computer animation.
