Marcia E. Cohen's painting (collage) “Marie” was selected as one of the fifteen artists.

About:
A public art contest and exhibition for emerging Kansas City artists. The exhibition lasts 90 days, and Featured Artists receive, credit, visibility and a shot atcash. Juried selection determined the fifteen Featured Artists. The event concludes with public vote in November that will determine which three artists walk away with the $1500 total purse. The Featured Artists’ displays include decorative street banners adorning many of the light posts throughout the District. Featured video art will be displayed on the Live! video screen.
